Welcome to Community Care. By using this application ("the App"), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. 1. "As Is":

   The App is provided "as is" and "as available." The developer(s) make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of the App, or the information, content, or materials included therein.

2. 2. No Liability:

   To the fullest extent permissible by law, the developer(s) disclaim all liability for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages. You expressly agree that your use of the App is at your sole risk.

3. 3. No Guarantee of Accuracy:

   The developer(s) do not warrant that the App, its servers, or emails sent from the App are free of viruses or other harmful components. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of the information presented.

4. 4. Data and Privacy:

   • Email Usage: You agree that the email address you provide upon registration, either directly or through an external authentication provider (like Google or Microsoft), will be used to uniquely identify you within the application. This email will be used for role assignment within troops and may be used by the application to send you important notifications in the future.

   • External Authentication: When you use an external authentication provider, the App will receive your email address and basic profile information as permitted by that provider. The App does not receive or store your password from these services.

5. 5. User Responsibility:

   You are solely responsible for any data you enter, import, or manage within the App, and for any decisions you make based on the information provided by the App. It is your responsibility to back up your data.

6. 6. Indemnification:

   You agree to indemnify and hold the developer(s) harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms of Service, or your violation of any rights of another.

7. 7. Agreement Confirmation

   By checking the "I agree" box during registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
